Add-On Purchase Promotion After Wine Club Shipments:
Your wine club shipments are a great way to introduce new wines to your members. We have two suggestions on how you can increase additional sales and encourage your club members to open and experience the wines.
• As shipments are planned and shipped try adding a follow-up promotion. Provide a discount for any of the wines that were shipped in the most recent club and re-ordered in the next 30 days.
This encourages club members to open the bottles and may result in fewer people quitting because they have too much wine in stock and it prepares them for their next club shipment.
• With a 30-day offer, send a reminder email 10 days before the end of the promotional period that the offer still stands but time is running out. This may get the club members to open, taste and re-order the wines.
